The Celebrity Jobber Podcast

The origin story.

I have been in the radio biz for almost 30 years as both a broadcaster and a programmer. The industry has changed dramatically. I was approached to start a podcast from a friend of mine who was having some success with his podcast network and needed some more content. Getting a podcast going had always been a tough thing for me, as I have had many attempts at it over the years. The one thing I love to do is interview celebs, as I like hearing about their path to becoming successful.

After thinking about a concept for the podcast, we launched Celebrity Jobber a few months later. It was going pretty well. I had an episode with Warren Haynes that actually got some downloads. It was episode 10 with REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin, were everything changed. With over 2 million downloads on this single episode, The Celebrity Jobber Podcast was now legit.
